Their silence emboldens Trump, just like Trump 's failure to call Putin out for his misdeeds (nerve gas attack, Crimea annexation, election interference, etc) emboldens Putin (as @LindseyGrahamSC pointed out just yesterday).
Apparently, Graham fails to see the hypocrisy.
