Yes this is global. Sounds unbelievable, but Brexit and elections in democracy’s around the world have been effected by campaigns such as this. We’ve know this for a long time but people won’t believe it. Or wouldn’t.

There's no substitute for people wising up and ignoring nonsense they see on Twitter/FB etc. But the GOP/Trump's undermining of legitimate media outlets has been so successful that people have more faith in propaganda-based sites and networks, sadly.

I deactivated my FB account over a year ago. I wish more people would do the same. Plenty of other ways to be "connected."

while it was going on it was frustrating to watch people who knew better take no action because they did not want to appear to be taking the side of "liberals" but by doing nothing they took the said of racists.
