The center is where the most good can be done for the most people. The application of rigid and extreme political purity/litmus tests by either party is a recipe for disaster for our country.

I am curious why you view delegates being split between an incumbent who is in her 80's and a younger challenger as being proof the democratic party is being pulled to the extreme.
