Upon reading this tweet Evan, I notice you have not abandoned the party. That's the problem. a lot of you guys that are Republicans don't leave the party. Just imagine two Republican Senators switching to the Democratic party in control of the Senate would be lost for the Repubs.

This. For all the posturing done by Jeff Flake & John McCain & Bob Corker, when the time comes, they line up right along with the rest of Republicans to confirm Neal Gorsuch for a stolen seat, and give tax breaks to ultra wealthy, and keep voting down gun reform.

#CPAC should just change their name to Russian Political Action Commissars and just own their treachery. I mean if one is going to be evil, why not just admit it? Why be afraid of us poor little members of the majority (also known as#TheResistance)?pic.twitter.com/CLwk9bqt5W - 1 more reply

Time to leave it. Start a new party. Sure, y’all would lose donors in the beginning- but maybe it’s time for true conservatives to think about getting rid of an 100% owned government too? Wouldn’t it be great if you could create a conservative platform that still cared for ALL?

The white nationalist strain within American conservatism has ALWAYS been a fixture of the movement, albeit a minority within that base. The only difference now is the GOP no longer makes the same effort to sweep it under the rug.
