There could be nothing more basic and critical for the FBI than to thwart hostile foreign intel operations and hold domestic collaborators accountable. Everyone is citing the FBI failures, but not asking why. For the last 10 yrs of my civil service, all I heard was do even more w/even less. CRs stripped the us of resources & then added more bureaucratic processes to make up for lost quality of work. It takes years to recover.

Why is this President so keen to throw everything under the bus? I can't remember any point in my lifetime when this happened at all, let alone with so much regularity. Didn't Candidate Trump say that any of these kind of problems loop back to the President anyhow?
