This is yet another situation that is the opposite of what Trump claims it to be. He declassified a selected bit of information and used it to mislead the public and protect himself. Not really, the info isn’t kept from the justice department, just the public eye. It does look quite guilty though, suppressing info that counters his “I’m vindicated” messaging
