Seems like a really bad time to cut taxes on the very wealthy and international corporations adding $1.5T to the national debt..

There is a precedence. The Clinton 1999-2000 budgets were surplus. The Republicans immediately identified this as "over-taxing" and passed the massive tax cut for the rich under GW Bush, eliminating the surplus and deepening the hole created by Afgh and Iraq wars, plus Med Pt D.

We do need to spend during economic prosperity and it should be on improvements to the things ignored during downturns: infrastructure, grid security, programs for the poor, elderly and young. Instead GOP wants to cut and only spend on military

Trump has lived his adult life on a borrowed dollar. It should surprise no one, that's what he wants to do with our federal government's budget. What makes me so angry is where are our fiscal conservatives? It seems like maybe somebody has something over them......
