I really enjoy @Evan_McMullin's opinions, and it's clear this all pains him. But I don't understand his pining for a GOP that is *gone*. How can you recover as a "brand" or party when the leaders have abandoned every single principle supposedly driving your belief system?
Thanks, Andy. I’m not actually pining for a bygone GOP. I’ve long advocated for changes in the party consistent with core American values. Can we save it? It’d be good for all of us if we do, but I have real doubts and am working on something for the future. More to come on that.
