I know and respect some of the House Republicans on the Intel Committee, which is why it’s so disappointing that they would intentionally mislead the public on a national security matter while aiding the president’s ongoing purge of senior law enforcement leaders.

It's cringeworthy to watch. At a moment where basic political courage is called for the good of our country, so many falling short. Even those who'd seem to know better.

When they look back do you think they will say it was worth it? Or will they realize their cowardice? Their dependence on party/donor support is just a rationalization to do wrong. I’m not sure how they come home and look at their families..if their mothers would be proud.
