It’s basically turned into calling anyone who disagrees with you a leftist, and hating Americans with a different point of view.
If conservatism doesn’t mean preserving liberty, equality and the norms and institutions built upon them, then what of good value does it mean?

Trump has freed the GOP from the burden of having to dress up their greed and racism in semi-logical conservative theory. That's all out the window. Family values, Christianity, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, Constitution, rule of law - all gone.

Apparently conservatism today stands for racism, sexism, homophobia, misogyny, hypocrisy, and treason. I used to respect conservatives even if I did not agree with them on everything as they used to believe is values, the law and mortality, but that's done with now.
