This started a long time ago. Trump just makes it obvious what that "traditional agenda" has really been for the past couple of decades or so. He's not an outlier, he's a manifestation of what the GOP has long since become

When will they understand that Trump is not a real President... that he just plays one on TV. There is no "there" there with this man - he has no idea how to be a president and is too dumb or proud to even realize it.

In large part, we should be ignoring him. Most of the controversial things he says are intended to make you mad. A good example is the "ratings" for the SOTU. The left accuses him of lying, and his supporters can accuse them of pettiness. We need to stop taking the bait.

Trump advocated for Muslin registry, Muslin Travel Ban which was exactly what Hitler did to Jewish people. The similarities are scary.

Bad policy is unfortunate but reversible. Ignoring norms and institutions destroys the very fabric making democracy possible. It may not be reversible. Huge difference and this movement will happily do either to maintain power. #Resist

The Germans in 1930’s made those same rationalizations, ignoring the President’s rhetoric, racist statements & attacks on judiciary, intelligence apparatus in exchange for tax cuts. Didn’t turn out so well for the Germans and the rest of the world.

I always enjoy reading Mr. McMullin's tweets. However I know he is a republican and the republican party has been going in this direction for years. There were 225 people from the Reagan administration had either been arrested indicted or convicted of violating the ethics code.
