This is a perfect description of how narcissists demand loyalty but give none. Their double standard expectations for behavior are well known to survivors.
How ironic it is that while the president demands the illicit loyalty of law enforcement leaders, he casts those who maintain their independence as unlawfully biased. He's a man without honor who would have us believe the same of everyone.
