FBI Directors and their teams are expected to serve long terms to ensure independence from the politicians they hold accountable. Firing Comey, forcing out McCabe, and reassigning others is a purge of independent law enforcement leaders and an effort to place Trump above the law.

Trump has always used the legal system to escape punishment. He sues people that can’t afford to oppose him. He and his lawyer made large contributions to ny district attorney. He is now twisting federal legal system to protect him. And republicans are supporting him

It's dangerous territory. This should have never happened. I think votes were changed. Or people are just really stupid to let a man like that into the White House.

He will still get a pension. He has enough leave/paid time off to make it until next month. After that he can retire and will be entitled to full retirement pay.
