I’m tired of being held hostage by a tiny fraction of America. Time to elect more moderates, centrists, and Independents that are willing to work together for the common good, not just cater to a base. We all live here, and we all deserve to be heard & served.
Nativism inspired angry "build the wall!" chants at Trump's rallies. Now that same bigotry drives government dysfunction.

It began with the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus rhetoric during the 2010 campaigns. Republicans used that hate to win the House and never looked back.

Great point! The farcical coast to coast wall is the sticking point the Rs are making for not passing immigration reform and shutting down the government. Yet, they know it’s a farce and they are using it as a wedge. Smells of demagoguery to me.

This effortless mind game is easiest for the lowest common denominator to grasp. Myopic followers share trumps very narrow focus & bond. They give the littlest effort to independent comprehension, choosing to follow. These are those, trump targets in meetings and rallies.
