Yes & the idea that somehow a healthy economy & common decency are mututally exclusive is utterly ridiculous. We should demand honest, decent, accountable leadership from those who represent us. We should welcome healthy debates on policy, but decency should be non-negotiable.

I think of a household where dad is taking in millions, no debt, family vacations, “success” — but the dad is verbally abusuve, crude, crass, inappropriate, to the point where not just family but friends and neighbors are disillusioned. Not success.
