Senators looking into another investigation into Steele? Grassley I can see doing it. He has been obstructing the Senate IC investigation from the very start. But now Graham? What is going on in our GOP? It is as though they defend all GOP crimes. None of this is normal.
Even as Trump appears increasingly vulnerable, our institutions are showing new signs of wear under mounting partisan pressure: DOJ investigations into his political rivals, GOP senators’ spurious criminal referral against an FBI source, House GOP efforts to impede Mueller, etc.
