I'm really just like, at what point do we recognize that even all this crap drama is impeding the WH ability to function and get rid of the joker and his crazy crew?

At this point I'm trying to peg where Rosenstein sits in this. He's made both problematic and borderline heroic moves in this whole thing.

Part of me wonders if he's almost playing double agent, willing to do what he needs to do to stay involved for the greater purpose of bringing it all down.

I need some help. Let's assume Trump resigns. Can he still be convicted by the Senate?
-
The Senate, no. Federal prosecutors, absolutely, unless pardoned by the new President. State prosecutors even then, unless (ha!) perhaps pardoned by the relevant governor? Basically, if/when he resigns, he's a private citizen like the rest of us.

Let's get this done so we can actually get America's work done!! I am so tired and even as a moderate independent... I am really pissed off at every republican who voted this mess into office. We had plenty of warning.
