I’m an independent. But I do think saving the party - if it can be saved - is a goal we should all share. The current direction of the party is damaging for it and the nation.

Saving the R party makes sense...if saving it means getting them to understand that holding the executive branch accountable is their job, and that not upholding their oath to protect the constitution is completely unacceptable. As of now, there are too many R oath breakers.
America needs 2 (3?) strong parties w/reliable, qualified candidates so voters have an actual choice & don’t feel pressured to vote along party lines due to tribalism/irrelevant litmus tests. Push-pull between competing ideologies -assuming compromises - moves US forward.
I too am an independent. But I don’t think the @GOP should be saved. They’ve damaged the brand irreparably. We need newer, stronger parties. Lots of people don’t feel at home in any party.
Save the party by running for office. introduce legislature to protect Constitution from these turned Russian assets residing in Congress. Congressmen are hyper-partisan. National referendum to recall is needed.
I agree we should try to save it, but I don't see it happening while they are in power. I think we need a major purge in 2018. Independents and Moderate Dems are where I'll cast my vote. Then maybe the GOP can be fixed.
It's run through with actors who are at least tacitly taking advantage of Kremlin active measures for their own gain. I'll never know what those people are thinking. It's so alien.
