There are plenty who carefully appease the ineptitude, corruption, and treachery of Trumpism because it requires less of them. And, like Paul Ryan, it ultimately reduces and defeats them. Something new and better will eventually emerge, but they’ll not be the leaders of it.

I’m still hoping in vain for a centrist party that is based on fact-based, principled, compromise-oriented solutions & doesn’t require a litmus test or marching in lockstep. No more scorched earth tribalism - why don’t we try what’s best for America for a change?
