when tomatoes are in season in the spring you need to try your hand at tomato basil pie. It is very easy and phenomenally delicious. Hit me up for the recipe if you ever want to try it.

This is my go-to recipe. It’s from the Alabama teachers Association’s cookbook. There are several variations. None of them are great unless tomatoes are in season though. But of course I use fresh basil.
