Remind them that the last serious tax overhaul in 1986 under Reagan passed the Senate 97-3. The Reagan Administration knew that they needed Dems in order to radically effect the economy.

I agree with your comment, why use dry powder(debt) as stimulus in this economy. Yes, growth isn't Emerging Market level...but even China is slowing down...Also Corps flush with cash, majority extra $$$ will be used for buybacks, current system built to operate that way.
