The problem is the youth don’t vote in large numbers to really have an impact. The 18-25 year olds need to get significantly more involved than they are now.

Agreed. Leadership doesn't come as an app, you have to work at it and actually be OK with it being boring. This said, in the most positive sense, the doors are opening and it is time for Gen X and Gen Y leaders to step up. Rational discourse has power, let' roll!
