Trump sympathizers and committed partisans define as Democrats those who reject white nationalism, fearmongering, lawlessness, betrayal of US national security, and pedophilia among Republican candidates. How then do they define the GOP?
Giving up on the GOP is allowing it to be overrun by candidates and elected officials who eschew foundational Republican and American values. A party in the control of such men and women cannot lead the nation.
This is what I'm saying. We can't give up on the GOP as much as we may hate how crazy they're being right now. There ARE good people that have conservative beliefs, but they're being drowned out by the criminality and greed that is rampant in the party.
I say elect a ton of progressive democrats for now and let the GOP rebuild with some better candidates. By 2022 or 2024,it'll be a whole new party and worth voting for

Evan, bless your fiscally conservative heart, but the @GOP is rotten and the brand is forever tarnished. It's time to do to them what they did to the Whigs and start a new moderate, fiscally conservative but socially welcoming party.
I have to admit that I have lost sight of what the Republican Party is supposed to stand for, besides preserving an America for white men to dominate and exploit everyone else.
I'd like not to give up on @GOP, but I'm not about to vote for one.
