When you minimize batshit crazy shot Hannity says, you normalize it. Saying it make people ‘uncomfortable’ when they should be enraged and call for his head, makes you complicit in the further normalization of aberrant behavior.

My grandparents were staunch Republicans. Grandfather served in the Navy 30 years, was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed and lived through it. Died in the 1990s. I cannot tell you how very disappointed and sad they would be to see what the party has become.
