If Sessions can’t offer a reasonable explanation (likely), he should resign and Congress should consider whether he committed perjury.

Watching him testify, I was struck that Sessions was allowed to knowingly lie, and not be charged with contempt.

And that was before what we now know about Sessions’ knowledge of collusion and conspiracy with Russia to elect Trump.

It's premature. Let Mueller get Sessions. If Sessions goes now, the new AG could easily and directly fire Mueller.
