Nobody is going to read an article about the Red Cross when nothing going on. If you want people to think about the issue, need to talk now.
This @HuffPost article lists several orgs and ways to donate. See heading: "1. Donate Money or Volunteer". http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/how-to-help-hurricane-storm-harvey_us_59a166dde4b0821444c37515 …
Truth is NEVER in poor taste!
No, EVan, sorry. This has been going on for years--too long. This organization is not the one people should give money to.
I respectfully disagree. We want our money to go to the people it's supposed to help. The Red Cross has demonstrably shown otherwise.
If it wasn't the sainted Red Cross that had misused funds so shamefully, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
Exactly-- how about this @propublica; if not RedC WHO???
Not really if people's support efforts aren't effectively delivered to the intended recipients. I'd rather hear what i can do that works.
So you are encouraging people to donate to a charity that is more focused on its brand than the people it should be helping?
If anything, now IS the time, especially when people are deciding where to donate. They deserve to know where their money is going.
