What I fear is if we take down all of these statues it is taking away a tool we are able to use to teach our children past mistakes.
For this reason, the should continue to be displayed in museums in their true context.

Agreed. You don't hear that argument being made at the national level. You hear the argument of destroying them. Take them down.
