This story sounds damning if you don’t realize there’s a history that led up to the Iran hostage crisis, namely our overthrowing of a democratically elected president to reinstall a corrupt shah who sold us cheap oil.

Yup. I don’t believe Sanders is really a Democratic Socialist he has just moderated his views over his career to seem more palatable & since he’s responsible 4 nothing of note he can get away with it. My God if you want someone w/TRUE Democratic Socialist leanings go for Warren.

People of good faith can debate whether Bernie's policies are the 'good kind' of socialism or the 'bad kind' of socialism. But based on his past statements and support of communist dictators, no one can credibly argue that Sanders is not, at bottom, a communist sympathizer.

And good luck talking to GE voters about the nuances in Sanders' socialism if we are foolish enough to nominate him. May as well say "he hates America, but in a good way."
