Unfortunately I am beginning to think the GOP sees this as a plus not a minus.
I wish I disagreed with Adam Schiff's warnings about the consequences acquitting the president of his abuses. I wish none of this mattered as Trump's defenders suggest. But I don't think that's the case. If the Senate acquits, it'll open a Pandora's box of dangerous corruption.

The Republicans would be pearl clutching if a Democrat president did what Trump has done. Trump gets to do anything he wants just as long as the money streams into Republican pockets and unqualified judges make it onto the courts. They proudly judge others but not themselves.
