We’re witnessing the raw, partisan pursuit of power by Senate Republicans, most of whom appear willing to destroy the Constitution if it serves their personal interests. I never thought I’d see such an unpatriotic display in America, let alone the Senate. Never.

All they ever needed was someone as corrupt and bottomless as Donald Trump to give them the space they needed to destroy democracy. They obviously have no interest in 2-Party govt. in fact, they act as tho they’re never going to be out of power. Worrisome.

This needs to be the moment in history that future historians mark as the end of the Republican Party. It’s beyond redemption and the only remedy is replacement. It’s become a criminal enterprise, operating under mob rules.
