This most recent New York Times poll of Iowa Democratic voters reminds me of the 2016 Republican primary in which several more unifying candidates split the majority of Republican voters and the minority far-right voters coalesced behind one divisive, populist candidate.pic.twitter.com/QCivehiqTi

People need to shut up and vote for the Dem nominee no matter what. Yes we’re at that point, buckle up.

Klobuchar, Bloomberg, Buttigieg, and Biden need to get in a room together and come out with one winner. The other three get a deal. ASAP

This is why we need ranked choice voting.https://www.fairvote.org/democratic_primary_2020_poll#spread_of_democratic_frontrunner_rankings …

All too familiar. Too many people stood by thinking this will never happen, surely the next primary will go better, and it led us to where we are today. Bernie polling like this should alarm everyone. The two parties are being controlled by minority extremism.

I agree. And I have wondered, for 3 years, the influence the Russians may have had in the Republican primary process in 2016, not only the general. Has anyone ever talked about that?

So this poll show Centrists in Iowa (Biden, Klobuchar, Steyer) with 46%, and Progressives (Warren, Sanders, Yang) with 48%. Which is the minority again?

Warren + Sanders + Yang = 43%. (I'm assuming you left Buttigieg off your centrist list.) I expect, factoring in margin of error, the best interpretation is that both groups are fairly close in size.

Same as it ever was, support the candidate you believe is the best choice for you and the country.
