Doesn't that argument also skip over the fact that Trump signed the bill from Congress granting the money? If he's so against it, why didn't he veto the bill in the first place?
Whether Trump dislikes granting foreign aid to other countries is irrelevant. This isn’t about policy. This is about Trump pursuing foreign backing in 2020 and withholding US aid for that personal purpose. Why do we treat these bogus lines of Trump’s defense with such respect?
