This is an important reminder, even if it falls on the deaf ears of republican senators.
Today, senators will take an oath to do “impartial justice” in this impeachment trial. Their legacies, the reputation of their chamber, and mostly importantly, the future of the nation depend on their honoring this oath, not playing partisan games. They must rise to the moment.

Which ones “rose to the moment” to defend Obama’s Garland nomination, or against any of a number of Trump crimes & offenses over the past 3 yrs? Who is fighting Russian cyber attacks? When will you wake up? They don’t care about “history” or “legacy”.
