If Bernie and Trump are the Democratic and Republican nominees, it will place America’s future in the hands of its polarized political factions, a destructive and destabilizing dynamic. There’s a reason that Moscow supported both men in 2016 and will likely do so again.

Although Bernie and Trump are opposite ends of the political spectrum, they share so much in common. They are populists pushing isolationism, protectionism, huge deficit spending and bail outs for their political base. It’s like the political spectrum bends to make a full circle.
