The “economy” you speak of means the very rich are doing well, while the vast majority of us “ordinary folks” are struggling paycheck to paycheck with paltry pay.

This isn't designed to pull swing voters. It's designed to activate people on the left who were staying home, first-time voters, etc. "Swing voters" weren't the problem in 2016. Turnout was. That can be solved by someone with policies voters can get behind.
