The Trump/Giuliani disinformation campaign that they're calling an "investigation into Biden" works almost however media covers it as long as it does. Trump and Giuliani are happy to commit outrageous, potentially illegal acts to bait the media into boosting their disinformation.

Come on. We’re a solid three years into this, and it was pretty obvious what was happening. Do they not teach something about this phenomenon in journalism school?

“Disrespect”? Um, respect needs to be earned, by their consumers/viewers, every day. Yes, they’re beholden to corporate shareholders, etc ... but WE have every right to demand better, of our Media & our elected officials. So, yeah, disrespect them. Make them do better.

Serious question: how do we counter this Putinesque misinformation campaign when it comes from
@FoxNews , the Oval Office &@GOP ? This is the question we need an answer to if we’re going to remain a Democratic Republic. No one is providing a roadmap.#TruthMatters#FactsMatter -
We can't do anything about FOX. Hannity is part of it. But the other networks do not have to help spread disinformation. They could either ignore it or "truth sandwich" anything they say about it.

I think the media does deserve some criticism. The y aren't spending nearly enough time talking about the background of the characters Guiliani is talking to, etc.https://twitter.com/bfry1981/status/1203475875737559040?s=20 …
