By "Congress" you mean "the Republican-controlled Senate". You need to keep making that distinction.
If the president bypasses Congress's sole, constitutional funding powers by declaring a bogus national emergency, if he categorically refuses to cooperate with congressional investigations, and if Congress does nothing, then we are one significant step closer to having a king.
