We often say, “Trump wanted Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden.” In addition to being incorrect, that validates the unsubstantiated notion that there actually was dirt and assists Trump’s anti-Biden disinformation. What Trump wanted was Kiev’s validation of his conspiracy theory.

Tell me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the United States of America have its own investigative bodies? The only reason he would ask a foreign country to investigate is so that they wouldn’t have to play by our rules of evidence and could make shit up.
