TV isn’t perfect and there are 1st Amendment considerations, but at least in TV there’s a fact-checking process in which you’re required to provide basic evidence of your ad’s claims. Right: issue ads run by a third party group, not a candidate's electioneering. As noted in the resourc cited, stations have to consider potential liability of taking $ to accept third party ads. Which goes to fact-checking. And on that count, clearly station standards exceed FB.
