Dishonorable leaders want us to believe that we can't tell who's honorable or that no one is, but there are many ways that we can. Rather than answer the question myself, I'd love to see ideas from other people in the comments section about how we can do it. 👇https://twitter.com/arhpursuit/status/1200887193767727104 …

This is a very good suggestion. We do more of a background search for a loan than we do elected officials. This should also be mandatory for all federal and Supreme Court judges.

Honorable leaders admit their mistakes, and credit others for their successes. They also place country above any partisan or personal interests.

One easy place to start is to take people who lie constantly about literally everything off the list. It is possible that an honorable person might feel the need to lie about something once, but people who lie constantly, easily disprovable lies, are not honorable or trustworthy.

Honorable leaders point to everyone else during successes and themselves during failures. Dishonorable leaders do the opposite.

An honorable person admits their mistakes and endeavors to repair them and do better. That’s especially hard for a candidate to do, because it goes against the conventional wisdom of conducting a campaign.

        1. Self interest. Are they more interested in selflessly serving the nation or their own wants? 2. Do they encourage, edify, and build into others leaders to equip them for the calling or are they constantly engaged in tearing others down? 3. Do they honor the Constitution?
