It's the same perversion they did to create the prosperity gospel so all those charlatans could have excuses for having a 44,000sqft home and multiple jets all while their flock couldn't put food on the table or buy the medications they need.

I have a neighbor who believes this, I went through it all with him and pointed out things trump says/does that differ from the teachings of JC greatly, he told me "Just have faith in God, don't ask questions, trump was sent by God and we must not question Him." Yikes scary stuff
