House Republicans spent the entire week pushing the conspiracy theory that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election. A generous assessment would be that they were simply manipulated by their extreme partisan tribalism and duped by the disinformation. A more realistic assessment is that they’ve chosen to adopt disinformation as a political tactic and were eager purveyors of the Kremlin’s lies.
Not just the House Republicans in general. The ones on the Intel Committee. That is a thousand times worse.

Putin is operating light years ahead of our president in all areas. If he had more faith in democracy I would request a trade. Their president for ours. The most damage we could ever do to Russia would be to put trump in charge there.
