More than likely, yes. I left the Republican party several decades ago, after seeing the Wedge Strategy. I didn't want to belong to a theocratic authoritarian party.

3rd party time. C’mon get together with the other centerish folks and create a lasting 3rd party. Make it a tad bit conservative to pull decent republicans and make it not-racist/sexist to have a clean slate.
