He and Volker are definitely throwing everyone on Team Trump under the bus, which I don't blame them for. But yeah, they knew. There's no paper trail they knew though.
I don't believe that Morrison was troubled by Trump's conditional hold on Ukraine aid merely because it was another hurdle to its delivery, or that he reported the call to counsel just because he didn't see them on the call. He was experienced enough to know there was wrongdoing.

Morrison listened to a phone call and then minutes later called the lawyers and told them to restrict access to the call. That speaks volumes -- however he may want to try and spin it now.

Sir, you should run as a primary opponent to Trump. If not, you should advise whoever does best among Weld, Walsh or Sandford, to run as an Independent in the general. It’ll siphon votes from Trump. Whatever it takes. I don’t see how we survive 4 more years of this.
