EXACTLY! It needs to be stressed that Trump only released the military aid to Ukraine AFTER it was reported that the whistleblower filed a formal complaint with the IG-IC. That point needs to brought up reportedly by Democrats in these hearings.
House Republicans now argue that because Trump released the aid he withheld as a bribe and Ukraine didn’t provide illegal backing before the scheme was exposed, there’s no problem. Incorrect. We can’t afford to let Trump’s corruption succeed before we try to hold him accountable.

That point needs to be brought out POINTEDLY by anyone in these hearings that has even a modicum of moral compass; and Americans that are even mildly patriotic should call their government representative’s office and demand that they be thorough in this investigation, legally.
