As someone who has voted both R and D, I will not be voting republican again until the majority of republicans find their backbones. I'm not holding my breath.
House Republican leadership would rather have a "Soviet-style" election than an American-style impeachment.

I'm right there with you. I've always been an independent, still consider myself party-free, but I haven't voted for a Republican since the Tea Party stormed Congress.

I would, at this point, just call it out as "House Republicans", leadership notwithstanding. Can you imagine if the "R"s had this kind of evidence on a "D" president?
