        Uh... the party smeared John Kerry. The party overran the 2000 election with a fake riot. The party helped Trump smear the Khan family - Constitution-carrying parents of a dead Bronze Star/Purple Heart hero. Their Evangelical base loves this. It's who they are, Evan.
