According to 52 USC 30121, it’s illegal to solicit the contribution of a thing of value from a foreigner in connection with a federal election. And not just any crime, but an attempt by Trump to cripple the American people’s ability to vote him out of office by again enlisting the help of a disinformation campaign by a foreign power. This is a direct, illegal attack on our elections and freedom. It MUST be impeachable.
Then you need to impeach Obama, who sought help in his re-election when he asked Russian Pres Medvedev for “space” until Election Day, after which he would have “more flexibility” on missile defense. O sought to help himself. Trump sought to weaken an opponent. Same core issue.
I was very critical of that exchange then though it wasn’t a solicitation of a contribution. Had it been, we certainly would’ve tried to impeach Obama. Either way, Obama isn’t president now; Trump is. And the republic is at risk. I hope you’ll get on the right side of this fight.
It was also extortion. We should be calling it that.
They Illegally withheld Congressionally authorized money to an ally who needed it to protect their sovereignty from Russia. They did so to get a political and personal benefit for Trump.

@EvanMcMullin, I am not too sure it is worth any body’s time to engage in conversation with this kind of intellectual dishonesty. We have seen all colors of it. It is now time to work on saving the Republic.
