Trump has made clear his intention to use racism as his 2020 campaign strategy. Are other Republican officials going to stay quiet or dance around the issue that whole time? How did defending such a basic American value — equality — become so hard for these guys?

This is exactly what the GOP always was, you’ve just got someone leading the party who isn’t afraid to say it out loud.

You’re a good man with honor and dignity, but I think this inherent racism and disbelief in equality has been present for quite awhile in the GOP. Party leaders are now just empowered to say what they already believed.

The
@GOP is on the road to irrelevance. Everything they stood for, limited government, fiscal responsibility, rule of law, equality (Lincoln was a republican), have been shat upon by the trumped up version of the party.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
