I agree. Certainly confirms my decision to abandon the @GOP, which I didn’t do lightly. Country, decency, before what’s left of my party.
As a conservative, congressional Republicans have disappointed many times but today marks a new low. Failing to uphold our most foundational value of equality by condemning a basic racist trope said by the very man they’re uniquely charged with overseeing is a real embarrassment.
